Aromatica was founded with the goal of creating cosmetics that oneself and family could use with confidence. It started in 2004 with the mission to "inform about the harmfulness of synthetic fragrances." Aromatica directly participates in all processes from raw material sourcing, research and formulation, manufacturing, to production. The reason for this is to not only avoid formulating harmful ingredients but also to thoroughly manage so that harmful ingredients are not mixed in or exposed during the sourcing of raw materials or manufacturing and production processes. They developed the first silicone-free and sulfate-free shampoo in Korea, are developing various natural makeup products, and use hydrosols extracted from herbs or plants through distillation instead of purified water in most products to maximize safety and effectiveness. Furthermore, as an official partner of the EWG campaign, they actively promote the importance of using safe cosmetics to the world.
