About Brand

A Work of Art Crafted with Care Seo Pil-hoon, CEO of Coffee Libre, boasts an impressive resume: Korea's first Q Grader (international coffee grader) and a two-time champion of the World Roasters Cup in 2012 and 2013. He personally visits coffee farms worldwide in search of the best green beans. For him, coffee is a work of art. As such, he meticulously handles every step—roasting, drying, and extraction—for the green beans he painstakingly sources. Coffee Libre aims for perfect roasting that considers all conditions, primarily using large Probat roasters from Germany. Their 45kg semi-hot air roasters with high heat greatly enhance the flavor of the beans. Additionally, only products that pass cupping—an evaluation of coffee's aroma, taste, and aftertaste—are offered to customers, ensuring strict quality control.

Good Coffee Dreaming of Sustainable Development Coffee Libre seeks coffee with a story and a face. They personally visit farms and coffee cherries, communicate with producers, and ponder how to infuse these stories into a single cup of coffee. They always pay a fair price for high-quality green beans cultivated through the dedication and sweat of farmers. This allows producers to farm with pride and motivates them to provide even better quality coffee to Coffee Libre. It's a relationship built on deep trust and sufficient interaction. Coffee Libre is also committed to supporting coffee-growing regions. They have annually sponsored a girls' school in the Araku region of India, and since 2014, they have supported three farms in Costa Rica and a kindergarten in the Marcala region of Honduras. Coffee Libre envisions sustainable development, enabling pickers in these regions to continue producing high-quality green beans. They strive to fulfill their social responsibility, however small, for the betterment and happiness of these communities.
