Kurly’s RecipeOrange Honey Butter

Ingredients (Serves 1) 200g unsalted butter, 2 oranges, 1 tbsp coarse salt, 1 tbsp baking soda, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp salt

RECIPE 1. Place the butter in a bowl and let it sit at room temperature for about 1 hour.
2. Rub coarse salt over the surface of the washed whole oranges, then sprinkle with baking soda and rinse thoroughly.
3. Place the whole oranges from step ② into boiling water, roll them around for 10 seconds, then rinse under running water and drain.
4. Using a cheese grater or a regular grater, finely grate only the peel of the oranges from step ③.
5. Add step ④, honey, and salt to step ① and mix thoroughly, then place the mixture onto parchment paper.
6. Wrap step ⑤ with parchment paper to form a cylindrical shape, then twist the ends of the paper to secure.
7. Freeze step ⑥ for 30 minutes, then cut into desired portions with a knife and use.

3. Place the whole oranges from step 2 in boiling water, roll for 10 seconds, then rinse with running water and remove excess water.
4. Use a cheese grater or a grater to finely grate only the peel of the oranges from step 3.
5. Add the grated peel from step 4, honey, and salt to the butter from step 1, mix well, then place the mixture on parchment paper.
6. Wrap the mixture from step 5 with parchment paper to form a cylinder, and twist the paper at both ends to secure.
7. Place the mixture from step 6 in the freezer and let it harden for 30 minutes, then cut into desired portions with a knife and use.
