Kim Hwal-sung's poem "The Path"
Cafe Namu Sairo began with the phrase "between the trees" from this poem. While pondering the cafe's name, the warm phrase "Namu Sairo" caught their eye. Thus, in 2002, a small cafe opened in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. The cafe posed the question, "Can coffee truly enrich our lives?" and grew little by little by answering it. And now, over time, it has become a high-end roastery praised not only domestically but also by foreign media.
Namu Sairo has newly settled in Gwanghwamun and Bundang. The space has changed, but they still make and serve coffee with the same initial mindset. Then as now, using good ingredients is fundamental, and they aim for positive change through thoughtful work and the joy of being with others. Isn't this belief an answer to the question, "Can coffee enrich our lives?" Namu Sairo is a place always full of good coffee.
