Cafe Namu Sairo began with the phrase 'Namu Sairo' from this poem. While pondering a name for the cafe, this warm phrase 'Namu Sairo' caught their eye. Thus, in 2002, a small cafe opened in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. The cafe posed the question, "Can coffee truly enrich our lives?", and grew by seeking answers to it. And now, after some time, it has become a high-end roastery lauded not only in Korea but also by international media.
Namu Sairo has newly settled in Gwanghwamun and Bundang. Although the locations have changed, they still make and serve coffee with the same initial mindset. Then as now, using good ingredients is fundamental, and they pursue positive change through thoughtful work and the joy of being with those around them.
