Chef Jung Hong-yeon was the first foreigner to serve as the head pastry chef at the Rihga Royal Hotel in Tokyo, Japan, for an impressive 10 years. This position was achieved after eight years of arduous effort after he went to Japan to learn confectionery techniques.
