Kurly’s Comment

It takes four days of dedication

to create one piece of yakgwa.

  1. Saenggwabang meticulously manages every step of the process, taking a minimum of four days to make a single yakgwa. By precisely controlling the temperature, humidity, and drying time of the working environment, they recreate the taste and aroma of traditional yakgwa made in the Joseon Dynasty's royal confectionery kitchen.
  2. By using only grain syrup made from domestic rice, without mixing in corn syrup, a deeper and richer flavor is achieved. With Saenggwabang's unique expertise, they firmly lock the grain syrup into the dough, creating a dense and chewy texture. It is Saenggwabang's long-held belief to never compromise on quality, even if it requires a significant amount of time and effort.
