A bright aroma that spreads smoothly

[Leonardi] White Condimento Balsamico

Product Committee's brief review
  • MD K
Perhaps because it's made from white grapes, it has a bright amber color! I'm even more satisfied because the sweet and sour taste spreads so brightly!
  • Planner S
I blend vegetables into a juice every morning, and adding a little white balsamic really takes away the raw smell, making it much more delicious!
  • Editor C
The packaging is so luxurious and beautiful! It would make a great gift for someone special!

The standard for good balsamic vinegar

  1. What makes a good balsamic? First, we can consider the aging period. The longer balsamic vinegar is aged, the better its aroma and flavor, and it develops a thicker consistency. When aged for more than 10 years, it delivers an intense and concentrated taste. The aging method is also an important factor. The aging process for balsamic vinegar is called "decanting," where it is transferred between various barrels of cherry, oak, chestnut, ash, and juniper wood, allowing different unique aromas to blend well. In colder winter temperatures, it is also transferred from larger to smaller barrels. Only after such a long and demanding process can a balsamic vinegar with a captivating aroma be created, even with just one drop.

Leonardi, creating balsamic vinegar of a different class

  1. In Modena, where Leonardi is located, traditional balsamic vinegar is given the mark 'Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena'. To earn this mark, the vinegar must be made using grapes harvested in Modena between September and October, and following the traditional 'tradizionale' method. Leonardi balsamic vinegar is a culmination of time, created by techniques passed down through generations, the rhythm of nature, and the craftsmanship of artisans. Thanks to their passion and persistence, they even received a thank-you letter from former French President Sarkozy.

About Brand

Balsamic brand with over 140 years of history

Leonardi

Founded in 1871, the Leonardi farm has become today's brand through recipes and know-how passed down through four generations. Leonardi's balsamic vinegar is not made by fixed formulas or mechanical processes. Amidst the countless variables created by nature, such as the type of wood, seasonal temperature changes, and air humidity, the artisans find the balance of aroma, texture, and acidity. The Leonardi balsamic vinegar thus perfected is a crystallization of time, harmony, techniques passed down through generations, and the rhythm of nature, crafted by the hands of artisans. It is not merely vinegar, but a work of art infused with history and passion.
