Chef Jeong Hong-yeon served as the head pastry chef at the Rihga Royal Hotel in Tokyo, Japan, for a remarkable 10 years, being the first foreigner to hold that position. It was a position earned through eight years of relentless effort after moving to Japan to learn confectionery techniques. His exceptional skills not only earned him the title of 'The Royal,' an honor bestowed by the Rihga Royal Hotel upon a select few esteemed employees, but also made him the go-to chef for birthday cakes for Japanese royalty and corporate CEOs.

Leaving this brilliant career behind, he returned to Korea, and Hotel Duce became his renewed dream. He pursued a new beginning after having achieved everything he could.
