The dough, made from Korean glutinous rice, is briefly fried at high temperature, then coated evenly with puffed rice. It offers a delightful combination of a crispy exterior and chewy interior, along with the sweetness of rice syrup and the savory taste of puffed rice. We've prepared assorted Yu-gwa, red Yu-gwa colored with prickly pear, and glutinous rice Sanja, so you can choose according to your preference.

Introducing Yakgwa and Sanja, made with the secret recipe of Kim Gyu-heun, Korea's first master of traditional sweets (Hangwa). The dough, made from domestic glutinous rice, is briefly fried at high temperatures, then evenly coated with popped rice. The result is a harmonious blend of crispy texture on the outside and chewy on the inside, with the sweetness of rice jocheong and the savory notes of popped rice. We have prepared an assortment of Yakgwa, red Yakgwa made with prickly pear powder, and glutinous rice Sanja, so you can choose according to your preference.
